3-day tourism fair begins in Dhaka

The Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Mart, a tourism fair, will start at the Bashundahar City exposition centre in Dhaka tomorrow with a view to disseminating tourism-based information among travellers.
Amazing Holidays, a travel agency, and the BRAC Bank are organising the three-day fair, disclosed the organisers in a press conference at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Tuesday.
A total of 70 organisations, including tour operators, travel agents, hotels, motels, resorts, airlines, banks, tourism and hotel management training centres and transport companies, will showcase their products and services at the exhibition. They will also offer special packages on discount at the fair.
Mahbub Jamil, special assistant to the chief adviser and in charge of the ministry of civil aviation and tourism, is expected to inaugurate the fair as chief guest.
Mamun Ashrafee, chief executive officer of Amazing Holidays, said usually travellers have to face a lot of hassle in getting appropriate information about food, living, transport before go any trip.
