Bhuj: Three members of a family died of dengue in Ade-sar village of Rapar taluka here on Monday. "Amba Sindhal, 28, his wife Shanti, 27, and mother Hasi, 70, succumbed. The trio was diagnosed dengue positive and admitted to a private hospital in Radhanpur in Ba-naskantha, where they died of kidney failure on Monday," said additional district health officer Dinesh Sutariya. District health officials swung into action by Wednesday "We've dispatched eight teams, which include officials from primary health centres of Adesar, Fatehgadh, Gago-dar, Bela and Suwai villages," Sutariya said. A dozen blood samples collected from Adesar on Wednesday will be sent to Rajkot for testing, he added. The teams will cover villages in eastern Kutch too.
