The budget estimates for the year 2002-03 for the slum and jhuggi wing of the MCD was also tabled before the standing committee of the MCD. The budget proposes to provide housing facilities to ex-servicemen, relocate 30,000 jhuggi families and provide toilet facilities to solve environmental problems.
