GWSB : As many as 3,800 of the 5,100 villages of the Saurashtra-Kutch region will face acute water shortage in the near future, according to a Gujarat Water Supply Board estimate. The poor rainfall for the second year in a row has left ponds and reservoirs almost empty even as the water table has fallen in the area.
