The most detailed examination ever of education in the Asia Pacific has revealed great progress in some areas, but also warns of persistently high dropout rates and discrimination. Representatives of 44 Asia Pacific nations gathered in Bangkok at the Education for All Conference to Review "report cards" of their provision of education over the past decade.
