An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 76km SW of Masachapa, Nicaragua at 19:06:04 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 48.65 km, was initially determined to be at 11.2803 degrees north latitude and 86.9982 degrees west longitude.
