Arunachal Pradesh today celebrated the 53rd Vanamahotsava in Itanagar along with the rest of the country observing awareness programmes on forest conservation. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mukut Mithi called upon the people to conserve forests since human survival directly depended on it. He said if forests could be preserved in right perspective, economic condition of the State would remain stable.
