The Union Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs 65 lakh for wasteland development in Bathinda district in Punjab. In all the ministry has released Rs 1.69 crore for wasteland development in three districts in Punjab, Manipur and UP under the Integrated Wasteland Development Project (IWDP).
