KATRA :for the 3-day intensified Pulse Polio Immunization programme, 42 booths were setup in Health Block Katra of district Reasi which also includes four booths setup on the track of Mata Vaishno Devi at different locations for the facilities of visiting pilgrims. On these booths about 6700 children were administered pulse polio drops today under this programme. This information was given by Block Medical Officer, Katra, Dr K C Dogra. At Community Health Centre Katra, Commandant CRPF Komal Singh inaugurated the programme while at Bhawan Assistant Chief Executive Officer SMVDSB, P B Gupta provided first pulse polio dose. From tomorrow door to door facility for 2-days will be started under PPI programme. The programme is being assisted and supported by prominent citizens of the town, Medical, Para-medial staff, ICDS, Education Department and NCC cadet of Katra schools.
