7 parking lots allowed at green belts NAVEED BUTT ISLAMABAD- As many as seven organisations have been allowed parking of vehicles at green belt areas in Islamabad, Law Minister Farooq H Niak told the National Assembly on Monday. In written reply to a question, the Minister said that a total of seven sectors including National Accountability Bureau in G-5/2 at license fee 4667 rupees per month, M/s ZTBL (ADBP) in G-7/1 at license fee 9610 per month, Marriot Hotel in F-5/F-6 at license fee 59820 rupees per month. Similarly, Best Way Cement in F-7 at license fee 6165 rupees per month, KRL Hospital at license fee 5000 rupees per month and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry license fee 1111.1 rupees per month. Yasmeen Rehman expressed grave concern about elimination of green belt areas. She said that no country can allow the same areas for parking. Farooq H Niak said that there was a big problem of parking place in the capital. He said that there was no parking place in old buildings. He said that the trees were not cut for parking place in green belt areas.
