The Bangladesh government is going to take up a 70 million dollar project for the improvement of the water sector across the country, this year, official sources said. It said the objectives of the project are to improve the performance of water management systems, ensure sustainability through improved operation and maintenance, take appropriate institutinal reform measures and ensure phsical improvement of small and medium scale water sector infrastructures.
