New Delhi: A report by North Delhi Municipal Corporation has revealed that 75% of the midday meal samples collected from January till May 2013 have failed to meet the criteria. Of the 36 samples collected, 27 have failed and only nine were declared fit by Shri Ram Institute for Industrial Research. “NGOs working for midday meal aren’t doing their job. It is shameful that 27 samples failed. Since corporation officials’ kids don’t go to corporation school so they aren’t concerned,” said Mukesh Goel, leader of opposition, North Corporation. TNN
