In a desperate bid to streamline the public transport system, which will be severely hampered from Monday, the Delhi government on Sunday pressed its entire fleet of 750 inter-state buses on the city routes. The schools in particular will be the worst affected since most of the 2100 contract carriages, which have been withdrawn following the Supreme Court orders, were being used by them.
