The large number of buses which belch black smoke into the city air every day are on their way to becoming part of Delhi's history. Clean fuel in the form of Compressed Natural Gas(CNG) will be available at 78 outlets across the city by June nect year. This will help in not only introducing CNG-run buses on the Capital's roads but also convincing more private and public vehicle owners to convert to the green fuel. Vehicular pollution make up nearly 65 per cent of the total pollution in Delhi. The ue of CNG-run vehicles would reduce this considerably as dangerous gases like carbon monoxide benzene would not longer be spewed into the air.
