82% prefer Delhi despite water, power crises

The power and water problems notwithstanding, Delhiite is in love with the city and wants to continue living here, according to a Delhi Government report. An overwhelming 82 per cent of the respondents surveyed in the making of the report said they want to continue living in the national Capital. "Delhi's residents acknowledge and appreciate the many improvements in the city over the past three years,' the first Delhi development report released recently stated. Nearly 80 per cent of the people surveyed from 14,000 households in different localities of the Capital said they were satisfied with the condition of roads.
