It is indeed commendable that the ban on polluting three wheelers in Kathmandu has apparently been effectively enforced. Enforcement of the ban on worn-out Vikram tempos, considered as the chief element of noise and air pollution on the Valley's roads, has been overwhelmingly successful, as some 650 of those pollutants have remained off the roads.
