Realising that motivation is the key to success of any programme, the Delhi Government in its "Greening Delhi Action Plan 2001-2002" has chalked out a plan to ensure "citizen's participation " and inspiring them to make its efforts successful. A multi-pronged strategy has been outlined by the Delhi Government's Department of Environment and Forests to motivate people to plant trees and make them aware about their role in pollution control thereby enhancing the quality of life.
