35-yeal old Muniappan is an environmentalist, a farmer, a coach and is a traveller with a cause. He has been travelling on his bicycle for the past 5 months, planting saplings throughout the length and breadth of the country. A resident of the Salem district in Tamil Nadu, Muniappan has till now travelled 8000 kms across Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, UP and now to Delhi and has planted 13000 saplings on his way.
