Nestled in the midst of craggy hills in Rajsamand district, off the Jaipur-Udaipur national highway, Badon Ki Rail is witnessing a phenomenal movement - one that not only demands upgradation of education facilities but also claims the children's right to quality education. A public meeting on the state of education in and around Badon Ki Rail organised over the week-end provided a rare opportunity to the villagers to give vent to their feelings after a 15-year-long effort to get the vilalge school upgraded to the upper primary level. This demand has been granted only recently.
