Farmers in the districts of Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal and parts of Ambala are feeling the pinch of abandoned irrigation schemes by the Haryana Government. As a result, not only the grain output per acre has decreased but farmers have to put in more money for ensuring the irrigation of fields to get maximum yield.
