ACPs vehicle burnt in Gurgaon anti-SEZ stir

Gurgaon: A day after farmers protesting against a proposed SEZ in Harsaru burnt two JCBs and blocked traffic on the Gurgaon-Pataudi Road, some youths damaged the official vehicle of an ACP and set it afire when the ACP was heading towards Gurgaon on Wednesday morning. Soon after, police conducted a flag march in the troubled area. DCP (west) Rakesh Arya said it was not possible to say for how long police deployment would be required in the locality, but status quo would be maintained even on Thursday. With construction of a boundary wall for the SEZ already underway, security forces have been guarding the site. Meanwhile, Gurgaon police have registered three FIRs against miscreants for damaging two JCBs and blocking the road on Tuesday. Thirty three people have been named in these FIRs.
