The Samaj Parivartana Samudaya (SPS) and other leading voluntary organisations have urged the Madhya Pradesh government and the Lok Ayukta to take immediate action against several top officials and politicians of Bastar district for having allowed illegal felling of trees in the district in blatant violation of the Supreme Court's orders of 5 February and 11 March last year.
