ADB aid to upgrade national highway network programmes

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide $1 million under its technical assistance grant scheme to help improve India's national highway network programme, according to informed sources. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will execute the technical assistance (TA). The Union Government will be contributing $2,50,000 equivalent towards the TA's total cost of $1.25 million.
