An Asian Development Bank (ADB) team headed by Geert van der Linden, special advisor to the Bank president, has concluded discussions with the officials of the finance ministry and Planning Commission with regard to progress of the poverty reduction strategy of the ADB adopted in the year 1999. The team also met with representatives of voluntary agencies, government agencies implementing Asian Development Bank projects, academia and international agencies.
