It's not just the rape of the rocks any longer. Trees, some of them, of the rarest variety seems to be the latest victim of mean minded business houses. All along Jammu-Katra highway these trees are facing untimely deaths because of thousands of advertisements being nailed on them. Inspite of the strict Supreme Court directives against such practice, trees on way to the region's most famous religio-tourist spot Vaishno Devi, are now the ones that face the most serious threat of untimely extinction.
