A report recently published by the Tribal Research Institute of Madhya Pradesh has stated that the adult education programme has not produced the desired results in the tribal dominated Bastar division.Due to lack of education and illiteracy, the tribals are not coming forward in large numbers to educate their children, particularly girls, at the primary school level, the study adds.
