The 'Economic regeneration programme' for the Narmada Nigam, a study currently under consideration at the highest level in the state government as part of the official effort to garner more funds for the multi-crore project, suggests the creation of what it calls the "Main Area Canal Development Authority" as an umbrella organisation.
