The ambitious urban forestry programme mooted by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporaiton and aimed at developing green patches on certian portions of the city, exactly a year ago has failed miserably on account of lack of initiative by the voluntary agencies involved as well as that of the municipal authorities.
