The Government will convene an all-party meeting in a couple of days to discuss Pulichintala and other pending irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao, Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture, has said. The Minister said on Wednesday, the Pulichintala project was being unnecessarily opposed by those who were trying to whip up regional differences. The construction of the balancing reservoir with the capacity to hold 40 TMC of water discharged from Nagarjunasagar would benefit farmers even in the Telangana region.
