Dissatisfied with the cabinet's decision of revoking the order of transfer of land to the Shrine Board, the state unit of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today warned that the agitation for Amarnath issue will go nationwide. "The cabinet's decision today at Srinagar has made it clear that Jammu and Kashmir government is being run by Kashmir-centric leadership," Ashok Khajuria, BJP state president told mediapersons at a press conference here this afternoon. "The cabinet committee was comprised mostly of Congress ministers and they decided to revoke the order just to generate vote bank in Kashmir for the ensuing assembly elections without caring for Hindu sentiments," Khajuria alleged asserting, "the state government has always remained biased to Jammu region but it will not be accepted anymore and the agitation will rock entire nation." He further alleged that Jammu and Kashmir does not belong to the separatist leaders on whose directions the Jammu based ministers are giving such decisions. "J&K Governor N N Vohra has played a political card in Amarnath issue and he should immediately be sacked," Khajuria further alleged. He alleged "Kashmiris have always been a puppet in the hands of leaders like PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, M H Beig, National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah, who looted them in the name of Kashmiryat for 60 years." "The countrywide agitation will be launched for logical conclusion of the issue while withdrawal or extension of call for Jammu bandh will be decided only on the directions of BJP high commands," Khajuria added.
