Lucknow City will now be developed on the lines of the National Capital Region, according to the Master Plan 2021 proposed by the Lucknow Development Authority. Keeping in mind the rapid growth of the city, the boundaries of which will be touching those of its joining districts, the Master Plan 2021 envisages increasing the scope as well as the area under development in the state capital.
