An year of greenery for Haryana

The Haryana Forest department would bring 18,000 hectares of area under tree cover and plant two crore saplings throughout the State during this financial year. It will also distribute four lakh poplar and two lakh fruit plants, worth Rs. 52 lakhs, free of cost to Scheduled caste families to raise their economic and nutritional status.This was announced by the State Governor, Mr. Mahabir Prasad, while presiding over a function to celebrate World Environment day at Haryana Raj Bhavan.
