Andhra Pradesh to launch World Bank poverty plan

With the rural poverty in Andhra Pradesh reaching a low of 11.05 per cent, lowest among all the states in the country, the state government has decided to make a last attempt to reduce it. For this purpose the World Bank aided new AP Rural Poverty Reduction Project will be launched on June 1 in 500 most backward mandals in 16 districts of the state.
