More than 500 stupas, dozens of Buddhist mounds and the remains of several shiv temples were unearthed early this week atop a hill in Bansipur forest in the Sangrampur area of Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district. This finding is barely a month after another major Buddhist site was discovered at Madighat in Rewa district.
