A massive expansion of the Antyodaya Anna Yojana appears to be on the anvil with the BJP making it the core of its wish list to the finance minister. The BJP, which is in the process of finalising its priorities in the budget, will ask Mr Jaswant Singh to bring more below-the-poverty line families under the ambit of the scheme as also to extent it to newer areas.
