The Andhra Pradesh Government is set to embark on Rs 2,450-crore World Bank-funded rural poverty reduction project is aimed at capacity building in the poorer tracts in 16 districts of the State. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday said that the Andhra Pradesh Rural Poverty Reduction Project, which has received clearance from World Bank, would cover 500 most backward mandals in 16 districts and was specially designed for interventions in critical gaps.
