If the plans of the Andhra Pradesh Government come through, residents of all cities of the State will get piped water round-the-clock. The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has asked the officials to prepare a strategic action plan to ensure that water is supplied to every household in every city of the State. The primary objective should be to give access to water for all households in urban areas. Then, they should try to provide water round-the-clock, he told a review meeting on Municipal Administration and Urban Development early this week.
