The Andhra Pradesh government has sought Rs 1,380 crore soft loan from the World Bank to improve urban infrastructure. Inaugurating the two-day municipal commissioners conference at Dr M Channa Reddy HRD Institute, Andhra Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said the government is expecting the World Bank loan for development of urban infrastructure and slum development. By such time the municipalities must be ready with projects to implement them with out time over run, he said.
