Bangalore will host a first-of-its-kind seminar on arboriculture (planting of trees) on January 21 and 22. Organised by the Dr. M.H. Marigowda Foundation, the theme of the seminar will be "Ecology and environmental education through tree culture". The foundation was set up by students and admirers of the famous Dr. Marigowda, who was a Director of Horticulture in the 50s.
