The Arunachal Pradesh Government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking restraint upon the Assam Government from carrying out evictions in areas covered by the boundary dispute between the two states, a releases by the State Government said on Wednesday. The Assam Government had carried out evictions at Jumi and Bello villages under Kimin circle of Papum pare district of Arunachal Pradesh on May 31 and June 4 last.
