As new Gurgaon shines; rural areas left in dark

Two decades ago, nobody could have imagined that Gurgaon will turn into an eye-soothing landscape. The city, enshrined in the country's development story, has emerged as a leading IT and software hub of India. It has made strides in all areas, be it infrastructure creation, or power. Earlier, the district was known for poor infrastructure. But it seems that the city administration over a period of time, has adapted to the new growth requirement. Barring some minor problems, HUDA (Haryana Urban Development Authority) has developed sanitation and drainage system to a large extent.
