Agra is known to be the only city in the world with three world heritage monuments. But apart from these three monuments, there are over 50 lesser known monuments that are maintained and conserved by the Archaeological Survey of India by posting their staff on these monuments. For long, ASI officials were feeling the need for a centralised setup for communicating with its staffer posted at various monuments of the city, including monuments like Fatehpur Sikri that are located even out of mobile coverage area.
