Local authorities today confirmed that trees which were allegedly felled recently by a contractor were located in the government property at Shell-Naiquinim in Sanguem taluka, Goa. The site inspection conducted by the officials revealed that as many as nine fully grown trees, were illegally felled and transported from the government property.
