Air and noise pollution in Faridabad is rising rapidly with the authorities turning a blind eye to the menance, which has already reached alarming proportions. A study recently conducted by a private organisation revealed that dust particles and carbon monoxide levels are 165 per cent and 34 per cent over the permissable limit. The level of air pollution has gone upto 720 spm, 90 per cent higher than the permissable limit.
