A three hundred year old building that won a National Heritage Award from the Delhi Development Authority in 1993 has been partially demolished, because the management wanted to build an annexe there. The building is an old madarsa started in 1703 by Ghazi Uddin, a defence advisor to Emperor Aurangzeb.
