April 29: The minister for mines, geology, textiles and handlooms, Mr Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, assured the people to resolve drinking water difficulties. He participated in the Praja Patham programmes in the town on Thursday where he received complaints about drinking water troubles from people. Responding to the complaints of the people of the second ward, the minister said that constituency development fund of the MLA will be used to install new bores in the ward. He clarified that seven overhead tanks were under construction in the town to supply drinking water on a daily basis and promised their completion by June.
