A controversial decision, taken in 1982, banning the entry of buffaloes to the prestigious Keoladeo national park here has affected the ecosystem of the park adversely. The ban led to excessive growth of grass in the park's wetlands, affecting the water birds' population, the study, released on Sunday by the secretary-general of Keoladeo Ghana Natural History Society, Krishna Kumar Advocate, revealed.
