CSE report : The registration of new diesel private vehicles should be banned in the Capital even if they conform to the Euro I or II nroms, says the latest report of the Centre for Science and Environment. The reason, the report says, is that diesel exhaust consists of 10-100 times more particles than petrol and the smaller size of the particles makes them more lethal. And diesel particles are the strongest carcinogens.
