Three members of an Indian band near Kenora (Canada) are attempting to halt a major forestry operation they say is destroying their traditional rights to hunting and trapping. The Grassy Narrows trio began a lawsuit yesterday against Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. and the province's natural resources ministry, demanding an end to logging in the Whiskey Jack Forest in northwestern Ontario.
