S. Rajendran BANGALORE: The Karnataka government is all set to improve the road network in Bangalore to enable faster movement of motor vehicles, and towards this end it is expected to clear a nearly Rs. 2,800-crore project to construct an elevated expressway linking Bangalore South (Madivala) with Bangalore North (Hebbal) and another elevated road to link Bangalore East (Marathahalli) with the north-south elevated corridor. Sources in the Government told The Hindu here that a detailed project report had been received from an international consortium (IDEB), which has a Chinese construction company and three others.
